European Company Law; European impact on Business Law

The European aspect is becoming more and more important question of each field of law. Many law offices create new jobs with specialization on this topic. Business law is another sphere, which faces globalization mostly and the impact of the EU law on it is rising every year. We can be witnesses of creation of a new legal branch “European Business law”.

The key to understand the core of this topic is to get familiar with the International Private Law, Registered capital and accounting, the ECJ Case Law, multinational companies and other similar legal issues. Due to this fact, ELSA Slovak Republic, in cooperation with Department of Commercial law of Comenius University, decided to organize Summer Law School on “European Company Law”. Besides academic community, this topic is most frequent in international law offices and EU bodies, where many professionals work with these issues day to day.
OC will therefore invite a variety of international guests from different countries, what will in the combination with young lawyers from Bratislava and Vienna create interesting and complex view of this developing area of law. Besides rich academic program, you can also look forward to plenty of different social activities, great clubs, lot of fun and Slovak cuisine.
